My father and I have been fishing for Ty for the past 6 years. After the first trip we knew we found the last guide we will ever need in Alaska. I was looking for someone who would not only put us on fish, which Tyland ALWAYS does, but more importantly, one who would take care of my father and make his trips memorable. Ty and Tina treated us like family from the first day. In fact, they treated my father as if he was his own. I will always be grateful for that. The huge bonus is that we have caught more fish with Ty than with any guide we have ever fished with. If we are in a slow area, he is on the phone with is network of 'eyes on the water' finding out where the fish are. Before we know it, we are right on top of them with tight lines. To get feel for what we have experienced, go to the sockeye link. There is a picture of my friend, my father, and I with a load of sockeye at our feet. The picture is easy to identify, its a bearded guy with the blaze orange jacket and purple shirt on the left. Simply put, if you are going to spend money to go fishing in Alaska, you will get the most out of it with Tyland. He is the best! If you would like more information on Ty please feel free to call me at 847-946-4321 and I would be glad to elaborate.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you that put on events for us service members. We appreciate how the communities of Alaska show a tremendous amount of appreciation toward us. As a deployed soldier, it makes every day I am away from my family and friends worth it! It is because of people like you many of us soldiers stay in the military protecting what is right about America! God Bless

My husband and I wanted to thank you both again for the wonderful time we
had at Alaska Fishing and Lodging. The accommodations were new, spotless,
and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Your personal
attention made us feel as though we were more like friends than guests.
Tyland, you are an excellent guide with a lot of fishing knowledge as well
as a fun personality which made our fishing trips very enjoyable. I am
very happy to show everyone the 43 inch King salmon I caught on the Kenai
River on my first day of fishing. This was our dream vacation to Alaska
which you helped make come true.
We have told everyone thinking of coming to Alaska to stay and fish with
you. For your future clients I would be more than happy to be a reference
and tell them about your great business and customer service.
Many thanks for making such a memorable vacation.

I wanted to send a thank you to one of the guides that was working the Kenai
river on the 24th of July by River Landing. The boat number was #113. At
about 10 am I hooked a king whose opening move was to run across the river
and into 3 clients gear...without hesitation, the guide took out his knife
and cut all the gear loose, so that I could have a chance to land the fish.
Minutes later, I landed a dime bright 42 pound fish. We were then able to
return all of his gear. I wanted to send my appreciation to him. As a
life-long Alaskan, he is the kind of guide I want to see providing the
opportuniny of a lifetime to people.

My dad, the kids, and I had a great time fishing with your guide, Chris. He knew what he was doing and had us on the fish right away. My daughter caught a 22in. King within 5 min. We threw it back. She had a few more strikes, but never caught another. She usually out fishes everyone! Ten minutes later my son got a 43 lbs. King. The biggest fish he'd ever caught. We kept that one. Things began to slow down and no one in the boat was catching much. Christ kept moving us to holes he knew of, trying hard to get us more fish. My dad and I both got 20in. freebies., which is always a good thing. After our piza lunch, my dad got a 22lbs King, and I had one about the same size hooked for about 5 seconds until he jumped, and shook loose the plug. Thank you so much for taking us out.

Barb and I had such a wonderful time, we are planning on coming out next year. This time we want to stay at one of your cabins and maybe do some trout fishing. That Friday after we got off the river, we went down to Homer for dinner. Barb absolutely fell in love with the town and really wants to go back. When we got back and actually got the fish we cooked it that night. What a treat! We are looking forward to another fantastic vacation with you and the guide. Thank you so much for making our Alaska fishing trip a memorable one.

I can't thank you enough for the trips. We have been pigging out on all the fish, ended up with 56 lbs of halibut thanks to you. Been thinking of Alaska everyday since we left. What a beautiful place as far from Alabama as it is. Fourteen hours and three planes away to be exact. Ended up with 90 lbs salmon and halibut fillets that Bill payed most of the shipping for. Thank him! I hope you get your halibut tail mounted. Once again, thank you for such a great time. Keep in touch.

Thanks for making what was headed for being a huge disaster into a very fine vacation for Brad and myself. Neither of us would have suggested going the combat fishing route, but it turned into some pretty good memories. Even though the rivers were closed your interests in your clients saved our trip from being a real disaster. It started downhill with getting kicked out of our room and then the river closing and you saved the trip by responding in an admirable manner and we both appreciate it. Your brilliant idea for not letting the weather keep us from finding fish was incredible. Thanks again.

I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at your lodge and the effort that you put forth to make our time there fun and memorable. Your other fishing guides were very helpful and they did a great job in taking care of out needs while we were with them. The cabins were clean and comfortable. I'd recommend your Alaska Fishing and Lodging to any one heading to the Soldotna area. It was great fun and unforgettable.

I just wanted to send a short note and thank you for your contributions to our amazing Alaska fishing adventure. I appreciate all you did to make our stay a tremendous success. It is hot and muggy here, 97 degrees and very high humidity. A striking contrast to your summer weather.
We're grilling Salmon tonight thanks to you.
